This guide is intended to provide introductory information about who is impacted by Prop 47, as well as procedural information to assist attorneys and formerly incarcerated people in reclassifying the felonies of formerly incarcerated people as misdemeanors so they may seal their records.

Prop 47 Bay Area Resource Guide
This guide is intended to supplement LSPC’s manual Using Proposition 47 to Reduce Convictions and Restore Rights, and help Prop 47-eligible people in the San Francisco Bay Area make the most of Prop 47 relief. It contains resources for the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Santa Clara, San Francisco, and San Mateo.
