Prisoner Education

We conduct workshops at the federal women’s prison in Dublin and at San Francisco County Jail covering a wide variety of legal trainings, primarily family law.

LSPC responds to hundreds of letters from incarcerated women and men requesting general legal advice around child custody, visitation, divorce and other family law matters.

Our most popular manual, the Incarcerated Parents Manual (available in both English and Spanish), is sent to prisoners at no cost and is available to non-incarcerated individuals for $10. Additionally, this manual can be downloaded from our publications list.
