Domestic Violence Project

LSPC's Domestic Violence Project involves a combination of public education campaigns, community organizing, advocacy for support groups (both peer-led and professionally facilitated), policy work, and legal action to systematically address the particular needs of incarcerated survivors of domestic violence.

Additionally, LSPC is an integral member of the California Coalition for Battered Women in Prison (CCBWP), a network of activists, attorneys, therapists, students, community members, and other dedicated individuals throughout the state seeking to end the re-victimization of battered women in prison.
