Graduates of East Oakland Freedom School, Aug. 30, 2014

The Freedom School is a leadership development series for formerly-incarcerated people and family members of people impacted by incarceration. We are inviting people who have been critically impacted by incarceration, policing, and the punishment system to develop and grow into community leaders.

In our Freedom School, you will learn:

  • About the history of All of Us or None, our mission, and our work
  • To develop a critical understanding of the root causes of incarceration and be a part of the solution towards building real safety
  • How to build support to help stay out of jail and prison

The first 6-week Freedom School was held in East Oakland, during August 2014. We plan to have more Freedom Schools throughout the Bay Area; please check back here for further information on dates and place for the next one.

Please contact Manuel at 415-637-8195 or if you would like to get involved or are interested in hosting a Freedom School in your community.

While we currently have no Freedom Schools scheduled, if you know you would like to participate in the next one please feel free to fill out the application below and return it to Manuel.
